Autocad Hatch Patterns

I have recently downloaded extra hatch patterns from the net. According to "Autocad Help", all patterns are stored in "aclt.pat" in the support folder. I copied the text from the downloaded file and pasted it into "aclt.pat" in Autocad but the new hatches are not showing up in the dropdown menu in the hatch dialog box. Is there something else I need to do or am I doing it completely wrong.

Hi ColmR,

Did you change the type to "Custom"? If not, try changing the type to custom and then see if the hatches show up.
