Autocad Font Distortions

Hi Guys,

I have Auto Cad 2000 and when you press 'print preview' or you print the file all of the letters with points on them (like W's or M's) seems to corrupt these letters. (when i say points i mean the bits that extend upward or down bottom) it seems to make them longer, i have checked the video driver and updated it, re-installed printer drivers and also autocad.

any ideas?
