I have the need to import acad drgs into pm6.5 the best method i have found is to simply cut and paste, which worked fine. But when I took the file to a print shop that was using apple computers there seems to a problem with the line types in the drgs. The lines become wider than they were in the original file. This also happens if the complete p/maker file is saved as a PDF. Any suggestions on how I can overcome this problem?

Not sure this will help, but an alternate method is to ''print to file'' your AutoCAD drawing, resulting in a PRN file (as I recall). Then PLACE that PRN file in the PageMaker document. This may or may not result in a better image!

Hi,

The line width is set in Autocad, but when you copy and paste it it becomes a different format, probably the problem lies there.
It is possible that the tip of Editor Jon solves your problem. If Autocad has the ability to export a file into eps, than pagemaker will not have the problem with the line widths

hope this helps
