Does anybody know how to get a custom toolbar to load up everytime when autocad opens up?

Hi,

What you need to do is set up your own Profile.
This is done by opening the Options dialog box (Tools >> Options), then going to the [bProfiles[/b] tab. In here you can save a your user settings and toolbars/menu states. This will be set as the default so whenever you load AutoCAD, it'll be there..

i tried using the profile and Cad didnt always start with the proper profile. i had to put a startup switch on the shortcut in the target section of the shortcut properties. the format is as follows(if profile is on harddrive for example)"drive letter:\folder where profile is saved\your profile.arg)" the target needs to be in quotes as shown. If profile is on a server "\\server name\folder where profile is saved\your profile.arg)" the target needs to be in quotes as shown. you can also set up different shortcuts to start with different profiles. i have found this to be handy as i switch between mechanical and standard cad.
