AutoCAD 2000 - Export X,Y,Z Coordinates - Excel

I need help exporting x,y,z coordinates that I can use in excel or surfer. Are there any add ons for AutoCAD 2000 which I can use, preferably free. If not which ones are good that are for sale. Thanks

What kind of entities are you exporting coordinates for?
I've seen plenty of freeware routines for survey points (blocks).
