Just to check.

Im assuming that an incomming caller can only call extentions that have mailboxes?

If an incoming caller dials a nonmailbox user they get "That extention is not vaild"

Pain in the Arse if thats true. Ive got 20 users I didnt want to have mailboxes but it looks like Im going to have to bit the bullet

Make them transfer only mailboxes or turn on "Allow Transfer To Any Number", but that can have unwanted results.

Got it. Thanks

I left the restriction alone and In the COS for the voicemail ports made the "public trunk via DPNSS" set to no and "external divert" is set to no.

Thanks for the pointer

Because without restricting dial 9 access someone can dial in to the auto attendant and back out again. It's always good practice to make sure trunks and voicemail ports have a COR that is restricted from dialing anything 9+ (except for your paging port of course).
