Looking for some help on this one.
We have a radio connected to a modem over here. Its used to make quick alert announcements. When I call from a PBX (s8710) number, it connects to the modem no problem. If I dial in from an outside line, i.e. a cell phone, it just rings and rings and the modem never picks up. I created a number that when called it forwards to the modem number to try and trick the system in thinking its a PBX call. That didn't work. If I call a PBX phone from the cell and then manually transfer the call to the modem, it works just fine.
What I'm trying to do is setup a phone that automatically transfers a call to the modem to complete the announcement. Is this possible? If any one has a better idea, I'm all ears. I don't want to edit any trunks though as this is a temporary need.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
