auto text???

What is it called when you put in the first letter of a word and the whole word appears if you had already used that word or number on your computer? IS there a setting in Internet Explorer to enable the text to automatically appear after a few letter or numbers? THanks.

This is called autocomplete. If you go into your internet properties, click on the Content Button. You will see the autocomplete button. Click on it, and there are a few settings in there to turn on/off. I do not know of any way to adjust up/down the number of characters that it should wait for before showing options.
