auto-terminate loop start lines to acd queue

customer has an option 11c/cs1000 rls 4.5 We recently received 4 3com ata's from their plant in mexico that register back to the 3com nbx3000 in that location.I installed an xut card and programmed an auto-terminate route and 4 tn's.The ATDN is an acd queue with an auto-attendant.Outbound calls work great,but inbound calls ring no answer.After messing around with this for a couple hours and calling some contacts,have come to the conclusion that the ata's need to be ground start.Not sure if that is doable.Any thoughts?

ata's? bcm, northstar is in a different forum.. auto term will work on loop start lines you need to answer asup yes.. gives the box permission to provide answer supervision.. with asup no (default) some one has to answer the station to return answer supervision.. either at a cdn or acd dn level, depends on the build..

loop start line are prone to have problems with rls... my disconect may look like a flash to the provider.. ie the trunk goes on hold instead of a clean rls.. ground start is always recogmemded.. wink start is faster..

Thankyou for your reply.I did state that it is an option 11c with cs1000 rls 4.5 software.I tried setting answer supervision on and the switch did answer the call but there was no audio, just dead air.I talked to a buddy of mine at another outfit and he suggested building a phantom port that is permanently forwarded to the acd queue and auto-terminating the ata trunks to it.I will post the results.

i would build a maxp acd.. ncfw to my target, use my ran as nrrt.. that acd is always in night (no agents).. it plays the ran.. the transfers the call
