I recycled my server running UDB/DB2 7.2 and some of the instances/databases did not start up automatically. They are all new instances that I recently added. I looked at the startup script and it seemed to use "db2iset -l" to determine which to start.... I may be wrong. When I ran it via the command line, it listed the instances that did not auto start but are running now. I also ran the db2ilist command with the same results.

What needs to be done to have these instances in the auto start list???

I am an admin for UNIX systems and fumbling my way through learning UDB....

It does contain numeric data.

I will give it a try. Thanks v. mcuh for the help.

Apologies for previous post, replied to wrong question.
