Every time I reboot the server I have to open System Mgr and manually start the IMAP Virtual Server protocol.

How do I cfg this to start automatically?

The IMAP service is starting fine.

Check to ensure that the service properties of IMAP is set to start "Automatically".

If the IMAP service is starting fine, chances are its set automatically.

Thanks, the IMAP service is set to auto and is starting fine but what I am asking is the IMAP Protocol that is found in the System mgr under the server/protocols.

After a reboot of the server the Service started but the Protocol had to be manually started.

Ok. Open System Manager, navigate to Administrative Groups | <Organization> | Servers | <your server> | Protocols | IMAP4 .

right click the Default IMAP4 Virtual Server and ensure that it is running.

If it's paused or stopped it needs to be started.

That should be it. See the Microsoft documentation for reference.

How to Start, Pause, or Stop a Virtual Server

That works fine but is there a way to set it so that the Default IMAP4 Virtual Server protocol starts automatically after a reboot for example.

It starts fine manually but the problem is I have to remember to do this or my Unified Msging does not work.

I have a similar issue... with Pop3... the service starts, but the protocol does not... until I manually start it.

All check boxes for automatic start are set.

It's weird.
