Dear members,

We have couple of HP Proliant DL380 Gen 8 Servers. I need to know if there is any pre-built option in these server from BIOS or somewhere for auto shutdown if the temperature of server increases due to anything. So we can set the threshold to some extent.

Read it somewhere about thermal shutdown but never used that option.

Thanks and Regards.

yes, it's in the BIOS settings (F9 during boot). I just set up a couple DL380s yesterday and it's in there. I forget the submenu it's under, but it's in there.
