I update a machine with the latest update from MS Windows-KB873018-ENU-V1.exe. When I, it seems that it cleared passwords in certain programs. When the end user loged on, and went to use this program, they where prompt for a user name and pasword to run the application across the WAN. They typed in the wrong user name and pasword and now it is saved in IE because it is web based. Is there somewhere in the registry that you can go and remove the paswords that are saved?

You can clear the password using IE's user interface.

Goto:

Internet Options -> Content - Auto Complete

and click the "Clear Password" button.
