Is there a way to auto run a macro every week . if I want to run a macro every sunday. Is there a way of doing this?

Hi HOMMER

Could use the scheduler of the operating system (at worst DOS's AT command) to start a batch file that opens up an Excel workbook.

Something like
c:\program files\microsoft office\office\excel.exe
\\Computer\Workbook.xls

If the Workbook calls your macro in Workbook_Open the macro will start.

Might be wise to include a ActiveWorkbook.Close.

using excel 2000. No the file will not be open. But there is a different file that is opened that night. There is a macro that is run for that file. Is there a way of running the other macro from a different file.

example:
If I run a macro in book 1 could I with the same macro button in book 1 run a macro in book 2 at the same time?
book 2 is in a different file but under the same folder.
