Auto Reverse in GL

Hi,

1. Running 55A

When l post the batch with auto-reverse checked , in a period open and (Next Period) which is closed l would expect that the batch will post and then give me an error batch of the reversal which l would post when l open the next period. This is not happening and it keeps creating an error batch where by it has not posted for the current period and the next period.

Please advice what could be the problem or what is it that l'm doing wrong?

The periods have to be open.
