We have the APS database installed in an Oracle 9i instance on a UNIX server. When the database goes down, the CrystalAPS service shuts down on the CE box, a Windows 2000 server.
I tried setting the Services Recovery properties to restart after failure, but this does not work. The shutdown requires a manual restart.
Does anyone know the command that could be added to the database startup script to restart the APS service on the W2K machine? The only solution I found in BO Support assumes both machines are Windows-based and the database is SqlServer.
