I am planing a form that will show jobs required to be actioned by differant people. I was thinking of using a box with a underlying count query to show job requiring action. The query will use a table that will be linked to another database and be being updated all the time. I require some way of refreshing my form automativcally after a period of time. Is this possible? Otherwise I require some code to refresh the form when it has got focus.

There is a Timer function that you could use to do this. I haven't used it before, but I have heard that it does put a strain on the PC running the database. Try looking it up in help. "Alcohol is our friend, and it's about time we had more friends over."
