I have been experiencing a lot of DSL disconnections lately causing my main WFB X1000 to lock up and require reboot. These are happening on weekends and off hours requiring call ins in all instances because we are a 24/7 shop. On Watchguard recommendation, I have put an unmanaged hub between the DSL modem and the WFB to work as a speed negotiator, but it still doesn't handle the full DSL disconnection when our ISP resets their equipment.
Does anyone know of a script that would run on my internal management console that would automatically detect the firewall disconnection and reboot it?
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
