Hi,

I boot up one of the Windows 2000 Server using Acronis True Media Rescue Media ver 9 successfully. Was trying to perform Acronis Backup of all the partition on this Server. This Server is HP Proliant Server. During the Acronis Backup, scanning of the partitions was carried out. But the Server went into auto reboot.

I tried a lot of times and the auto reboot during partition scanning using the Rescue Media is still happening. Anyone encountered and resolved?

Pls advise. Thks.

Does this happen at the same point each time? Have you checked the drive for bad clusters?

Thks itsp.

Yes, same point each time. Drive has not been checked for bad clusters. As there could be possibilities that after chkdsk, the Server may not be able to boot up.

Are there any other methods or walkarounds?
