Auto QOS for Call Manager Switch Port?

I think this may be a silly question that came about from configuring a switch for Auto QOS for ip cameras. The debate was, should the recording server switch ports be programmed with "auto qos video ip-camera"? What does this have to do with CM? Well, I was under the impression that CM Publisher, Subscriber and Unity ports are programmed with "auto qos voip cisco-phone" just like the phones are. My coworker disagrees and states that these ports should not have any auto qos parameters applied. Any input on this would be awesome.

unless there is a cisco phone plugged in the port then it should not be set as stated above. Your coworker is right.
