We want to deploy Nortel i2004 (NTDU92) phones in one of our branch offices and we're trying to utilize auto-provisioning. With the Avaya 1140e phones, I was able to just use the DHCP option 128 with "Nortel-i2004-B,prov= and the phones would read the system.prv file. It worked seamless. With the NTDU92 phones, they receive an IP on the DHCP scope but I can't see any communication between the phones and the provisioning server and they do not get configured. I read that the phase 2 i2004 phones do support the Nortel-i2004-B string and auto provisioning. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris
