We just upgraded from Symantec Corporate version 9 to version 10. After the upgrade we noticed that on many of the clients auto-protect is disabled even though the Anti-Virus server has auto-protect enabled.
If i go to the clients where auto-protect is not working, i can check the box to enable auto-protect, but out beside the auto-protect option theres a (disabled) notation. Even though I can check the box to enable auto-protect, it ramains labeled as (disabled)... I did this logged on as admin, i rebooted the client, but nothing seems to actuall enable auto-protect.
any suggestions about what has happened would be appreciated.
