Hi,

I have the following type of data set:
Code:
0.94
0.94

0.94
0.94
0.24
0.66
0.86

0.96
And I want to easily generate a plot that will summarise the above data.
i.e. A bar chart type that shows how many times each value from 0 to 1 in 0.02 steps occurs? Is there an easy way to generate this? (Without counting individually)

Thanks

Robert Cumming

Generate a PivotTable of your data, doing a count of the readings and also have the readings as the row category. Then plot the table.

When choosing data for a PivotTable, the default setting for numeric items is "Sum of xxxx", but you need "Count of xxxx", which is easy to set, by double clicking the data item, and choosing Count in the "Summarize by" list.

Cheers, Glenn.
