Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I wonder if there is a way other than real audio, I could autoplay an MP3 file and to be able to stop and play again? Has anyone tried using Windows Media Player to do this before? Thanks

i wonder if you could use the <bgsound> tag to play mp3's, that would be kinda neat. i don't have any, or i'd try it. adam@aauser.com

you can't use the <bgsound> tag to play MP3s jared@aauser.com

Yes, you can use WMP to play MP3's. You can either embed it with no controls, with the default controls, or you can use JavaScript to access the controls via functions.

tanderso,

How do I use the WMP then? What do I have to download from them? Can it convert Wav files to MP3s as well?

Ok, I saw what's your response to thread215-43352 in this forum already. I could go from there and check out WMP. Thanks Tom.
