i have a document that has auto page numbering built into a master page. each time that you grab a new page it automatically has the new page number inserted.

While this is all good for dong the layout, I am having toubles when i go to put it all (28 pages) in print order. As soon as I reorder the pages the numbers change.

Please help me i am ready to pull out my hair.

thank you in advance for you help

The automatic page numbers are generated using COMMNAND + 3 (on a Mac).

What I normally do for pagination is enter the page numbers manually (once everything is laid out in order), and then start the pagination on the document.

Hope this helps.
