Is there a way to configure auto drive mappings in a Win2K3/WinXP AD domain per computer, as opposed to per user?
Or do I need to create a logon batch file for each domain user?

Thanks

You can use Group Policy to create a logon script that will run on a per-computer basis, not per-user.

Plus, even if you chose to go the per-user route, you could write one simple script and assign it to all your users via Group Policy, so that's not really "per-user" it's more "per-OU" or something like that.

If you follow the link below there is a map network drives logon script section. Create a VB logon script and attach it to the startup scripts area of a computer containing OU, this way all the computers in that OU will have that mapped drive.
