I think I understand what you want. Forgive me if I'm way off base. If you type the path \\server name\folder path and then highlight the path. Click on Insert, Hyperlink, select the 'Type' of link you want in this case ftp and click OK. That will link whatever is mapped on a network drive if you want people to access that. Does that help? -Brad

Oops you can do the same thing by just typing the path when creating a meeting request. The steps I gave you was inserting a link within an emails text body. -Brad

Brad,
Thank you, but I have tried this in the past and it does not work (at least on my pc). When I create a path and click it, I get a pop-up window "Create Link Browser" it then wants a file name typed in -- the save button then highlights. This doesn't seem right -- seems like if a user clicks on the path and has the proper rights it should simply map them to the specified server ??
Ahh.. If it wants you to create a link browser it should pop up a window that looks a little like Windows Explorer. If you browse to the C: drive, Program Files, Internet Explorer, then Highlight IExplorer.exe that should fix your problem. Sometimes Outlook doesn't associate which browser you're using. -Brad
