auto logon help

Hi,
how can i setup goldmine 4.0 to login the user automatically so they don't have to change the username each time they open GM. Right now it defaults to their windows username.

Add the following switches to the command line on the shortcut

/u:username

You can also log GM directly in by adding the password switch

/password

c:\program files\goldmine\gm4.exe /u:johndoe

try: "c:\program files\goldmine\gm4.exe /u:johndoe"
or
"c:\program files\goldmine\gm4.exe" /u:johndoe

(note the quotes) This is because you have a 'long' path name with spaces in it. Windows is particular about that sort of thing. you might also try:

c:\progra~1\goldmine\gm4.exe /u:johndoe

that fixed it. I had to put the /U: on the outside of the "
