I've been finding to a way do this for a long while and getting nothing. I want to have a visual basic exe that goes to a company-associated web site to obtain some status-type information periodically. So far the most promising method is to run some VBA script and web query from EXCEL to obtain the information, however, this requires me to manually login to the website first. Is there some way using Visual Basic, VBA, or any other language to automatically login into to the web site first so that I could run my scripts? (Open the website and fill in username and password and submit the form by some sort of remote control maybe? ) The web site is JSP based. Any input will be appriciated.
