I have a legend R.6.1 V.11 that is in the hybrid / pbx mode and all lines are in a pool [70] , now all lines appear on the operators console like they are programmed to do and when a call comes they just P/U the handset to answer the call, my problem is that after I added 4 more lines to that pool now the operator has to physically push the line button that is ringing to answer and to hang -up the line which they never had to before adding the lines .What happened and how can I get that feature back ? any help much appreciated thx J

I assume you added the 4 extra lines to pool 70 - and also added the 4 new lines to the operator console. Is that correct?

yes I did add the lines to her ext.[ operator ] and to pool 70

Sounds strange - that should not be happening. You may want to take all the lines out of pool 70 and off her phone - and then re-add the lines back to pool 70 and her phone. See if that makes a difference.

If that does not work - I would consider putting the system back in "key" mode - and then switching back to Hybrid/PBX mode - and then administering pool 70 to make sure only active lines are there - and also on her phone.

I found the answer to my problem , the operator has a MLX-20 console and a couple of the buttons that were programmed were headset-status and headset hang-up so when I added the 4 new lines one of the lines automaticaly replaced the status button and that was causing the operator to have to push the button to answer & hang-up .As soon as I removed the status button the system began working properly.I am lucky that we have a lab here at the office to try and work the problems out. Thanks again for your time and effort "j

Yes - that would have caused the problem. Whenever you add line buttons to an operator phone - they will wipe out whatever was programmed previously on the next button up. Glad you solved your problem!
