Auto line select?

I put an outside line on a button, How can that line be selected by just going off hook? To use it now I have to depress the button and then go off hook. Thanks.

There is no line selection in the IPO. you will have to press it.

if you are on or above 4.0 you could use ARS

create a user shortcode that points to the ARS
in the ARS just point it to that lines outgoing group id. make sure that lines outgoing group id is different than all the other ones.

then create another ARS for backup, so once he uses that line, if he tries to dial out again it will go to the backup route.
