I find that my Windows Taskbar which I set to autohide will not popup when Adobe Fireworks is open. When I move the mouse to the appropriate edge of the screen nothing happens. I can reveal it by pressing the Windows key and if I close FW the function returns.
I am running XPP, IBM Z-Pro 3.6Ghz, 1.5 Gb RAM, multi monitor, updated... etc.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA

Hi Linny:

Have not tried F11 but wouldn't you know it... I can't reproduce it right at this point in time even though it has been a recurring pain.
Always on top is checked (got fooled by that one once before)
What will F11 do for me?

Probably not a lot but, for example, IE goes Full Screen to Normal Screen and vice versa on each repeated F11 entry, just something to try.

I'll give it a go next time it poops out on me.
Thanks

Update...
I find that the taskbar does unhide, it just unhides behind Fireworks. It is set to "keep on top of other windows" and Fireworks is the only program which it hides behind.
If I open start button properties and then click OK the taskbar acts as it should.
Very strange indeed

Maybe check to make sure the Adobe program isn't set to sit on top of other windows?

Thanks, I have looked but don't see any place to alter a setting like you suggest
