This is strange, wondering if anyone else has had this happen? On a new install- BCM 3.6, using T7316 sets. A call is answered and placed on HOLD. When the user lifts the HS and presses the held line key, the speaker is activated and it is now a handfree call. WEIRD!! The template was reset using a different type set then the 7316 was put back. That took care of the issue--for a while. It's back to the HF mode.. This is only happening on 2 station ports. Different 7316 sets were installed and the same thing reocurred...anybody? anything?

Sounds like port corruption.
Try putting a M7100 on that station port to clear the corruption.
Make sure set relocation is off before you plug in the M7100.
You can plug the 7316 back in and test when you are done.
Rebuild the DN manually do not use the template.

aragon-tech had used T7208 to reset but didn't rebuild the DN manually. However he did change ports and is monitoring the situation. He mentioned also this system was resetting every once in a while. Case has been opened, might me changing out the 4x16 MBM.
Thanks for your input!

If I am not mistaken, to reset the DN a 7100 must be used.

Ok, we'll give that a try. thanks

When we upgraded to 3.6 we noticed that the Hands Free line was removed from all 7316's and both intercom lines were moved down.

Are you sure that is not the issue here?

If your using T7316E the I/C key's move down to the bottom and the HF key is located between the Mike and Headset buttons just below the Volume control. The HF key is hard coded and can't be changed. The T7316only has 2 buttons below the Volume key.

The problem ended up being a loose punch down. Once corrected the issue went away.
Thanks for the replies.
