Hi everyone,
We currently have an auto-attendant that forwards to "Finance" when a customer presses 3. The problem is, I want that to forward to a number outside of the PBX (ie 555-555-5946) as opposed to the internal number it's going to now. Right now, I have it set up so that when the system realizes no one is answering that line (after 4 rings), it THEN forwards to the outside line. This of course is somewhat annoying for the customer.
Is this possible without setting up an IP phone which forwards? I'd like to save an ip phone if possible.
Thank you and apologies for the lack of technical terms here.
Allen
