Auto forward message agents on Mail.box

We want to have a mail account can auto get forward mails from some clients out side of the company.
I knew if the agent write on the each person's mail account, it will run. Can I write a agent on the Mail.box to auto forward messages to a mail accounts for the backup?or I should write the agent on the SMTP Outbound or Inbound.
