Is there any after market software available to filter out unwanted addresses in the auto fill box? We are getting not only email addresses, but fax numbers as well. Is there any way to filter these out other than deleting them one by one?

Not sure on the tools available on the market. However it is possible to delete all the entries in one go I think this can be done in Outlook via options or you delete a file which contains the stored entries. I have forgotton the name of the file at the moment though, but could probably let you know if you are interested in doing this.

Also remember the method you are using is not an ideal way to use email addresses, the autofill has a limit of entries that can be remembered I think its about 1000 but I could be wrong. It will also not take into account any email addresses that have changed in anyway either, for example if you have an external customer and their email address is altered or details changed you may find you cannot email them as the old address is cached.

I get a lot of support calls from people who try to send emails using the autofil often using the global address list for internal emails is the best method but not an option for external email address details.
