Hello - I have a many many page word document that has certain places info needs to be entered. In six of those places the info is exactly the same as the very first entry. I have placed fields for tabbing to the entries, but is there a way for the ones that are the same as the first, to automatically fill in?

Thanks in advance
Taylor

Get the bookmark name from the FIRST instance of an entry. You may want to rename the bookmark to something meaningful like *ClientName*.

Now, where you want the second instance, hit Insert-Cross Reference, choose Bookmark, and tell it you want the *bookmark text*.

You'll need to update the document before the cross-refs will fill in, i.e., do a print preview or Ctrl+A then F9 to update the fields... Anne Troy
