Auto fill in DateRange from two distinct date fields

An odd report which seems to only work if I use a DateRange parameter. I have two fields, StartDate and EndDate, which hold each end of the range, but I cannot figure out a way to populate the DateRange paramter with this data when the report is opened.

Crystal won't prepopulate parameters for you from a database. You can hard code in values by selecting Set Default Values.

You could select the records with your start and end date as the main report (assuming it is a single record) and then display your current report as a subreport feeding the start and end times from the main report..
