Hi there

I need some help

We are trying to set up an automated process which will run at 8:30 each night, the job we require is that an email will be sent to the contact and possibly the user to confirm the appointment details for the following day for an appointment which was arranged earlier that day, we would like to use a template which we have already designed

Any ideas?

The following are the steps you need to take.

1. Setup AP, just a single step which checks for appointments scheduled that day and sends an email using your pre-defined template. The AP needs to restart each time it completes

2. Attach to all contacts in the database.

3. Setup the Server Agents to run AP's at 8:30 each night.

have you tried creating a macro to send your email template to the appointment created in Goldmine?

I can post some instructions if you need them.
