Yes you can. Theres a bunch of utilities that allow you to record/run/shutdown etc etc applications, which include sending keystrokes or mouse movements.
I have used a simple utility to reboot my machine at certain times and then automatically log me on. There are more comlpex utils out there which allow you to do what you want to.
Examples:
There are products you can buy (around $40 as above) for a single user license which again allow you to schedule emails to be sent at certain times.
