First off I am still green at using Delphi but in the most part with allot of reading and searching I have been able to resolve my problems. Heres one I can't find out how to solve.

I am using a SDI form as my main form I have 4 objects a coolbar, statusbar, pagecontrol and frambar supplied by AlphaControls. I have set the pagecontrol as a docksite and this is working properly when I dock other forms to it.

The problem is how can I have the form show docked when it is first created and give the user the option to un dock it.

Thanks for any help.

What version of Delphi are you working with? Some version have docking built in and other will require a 3rdparty solution. I'd be suprised if Jedi didn't have a docking solution.

Sorry forgot to include that, Rad Studio 2007.

I did find a way to get a form created on a new tab but now the issue is how to get it to get the tab to detatch to a seperate window.

take a look at the docking demo that comes with Delphi, you should find it under

\Demos\DelphiWin32\VCLWin32\Docking
