I have a customer that is a Pharmacy and they have their own voice mail system / pharmacy refill auto attendant that is supplied by the franchise. It has a Nortel simulation that allows it to simulate a DN for Nortel M7324. It works great no interface problmes at al.. They have a voice mail check in feature and they want me to set an Internal Auto Dial button to call one of their ports so they can check in for messages. No problem. Works great.

After it Auto Dials DN 281 and answers the customer presses # and then enters a password. THe customer has several employees and would like to automatically dial the # and the password so they do not have to remember the password.

I tried to enter digits after the AutoDial DN but of course that will not work. I tried to set up a ROUTE and DEST then programmed an EXTERNAL autodial but it keeps trying to dial out on a Loop Line. Is there any way to program a button to use an I/C then dial "281 PAUSE # xxxx"?

Sigh, I hate to help helpless people.
In this case they cant be helped so best they learn how to remember a password.

Cheat:
Routes would work if you go out a spare unused trunk that wires back into an ATA.
