Auto DHCP

Hello, we hvae a set of ERS4550T-PWR and BES120 switches and i would like to know if the auto dhcp option for ip phones is possible using these switches. If so can someone provide me with some guidance as to how to get this working.

auto DHCP just means the phones (what make/model?) get their info from DHCP rather than from the switches via LLDP,doesn't it?

I believe your right. I took a look at this document

I will try whats one there. Just one thing, I am out right now , would it be possible to test this without the call server being present. As in the phone gets the info but is unable to register.

I'm sure you can test that - you would be looking for whether the phones get a proper IP address or not.

Don't forget phones mostly remember their last IP address, so if DHCP doesn't work, don't be fooled by whatever address the phone remembers.
