Auto dail or redial with pause

What I am looking for seem simple but unable to get it work.

What I want is to dial an extension after I call a public number : example 123 456-7890 ext:1234

I did lot a research and test but nothing work yet. I tried : 91234567890*1234# : as mention here

You may have to enter several pauses (*)...place the call as above and listen to see if the system is attempting to enter the extension number too soon.

Yeah we are using pri and creating a personal directory entry does work but is there is a way to assign that entry to the key of the phone so I can dial easily like autodial. I am using 1140e

What i put in personal directory : 1234567890---1234

Putting lot of asterix (****) does not change anything
