I have installed an HP LaserJet4000TN printer on a server and configured it correctly. e.g. Paper size, duplex unit, etc.

This has then been installed on a Windows2000 server running Citrix MetaFrame 1.8SP2 and all the configured features appear correctly.

If a thin client connect to this server and adds the printer then they see all the configured features.

If a 'fat client' adds the printer to their desktop they see all the configured features, but when they launch an application the only see the standard printer features, no duplex unit, etc.

The printer driver is TS certified. I don't have the driver translated in the WTSPRNT.INF file.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

Have you tried the "fat client" with the driver fully installed locally.....????

Not yet as it sort of defeats the purpose of having a network printer! Also, standard users are prevented from installing software locally as they invariably mess things up.

I could understand if it din't map all the printer settings, but it does do some. e.g. Paper size. Its the extra options like the duplex tray and the exact model number that don't get mapped.
