Hello,

Is there a way I can automatically create homefolders in a GPO for Server 2003?

Thanks in advance

Hi...

The way i addressed this issue was to redirect the users my documents folder into a location such as \\server\userdata$\%username%\home\my documents

This will then create both the home, and my document folder, and the i simply created a logon script to map a drive to \\server\userdata$\%username%\home
I hope this help

Create a share called Users on any visible server. Share it to Domain Users. In UMD profiles, set home directory to \\server\Users\%username% (can do this for multiple users) and the profile path to \\server\Users\%username%\profile

This creates the folder and sets them ready for roaming profiles.

Active Directory Users and Computers; R-click user account, ->Properties, and select tab Profile
