I'm finding autocomplete - 1 - useful, but - 2 - a pain in the a**e if you don't activate it immediately.

SO. If I have a number of possibilities for auto-complete, due to miss-typing, etc, is there any way to get rid of some of them?

AND. If I said I didn't want to save a password, but now I do, how can I reset it so that I can?

Thanks in advance.

To delete individual autocomplete entries, just move the mouse to highlight the entry and press the delete key. Also look in IE at Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, Autocomplete button for other options including re-enabling of 'ask for password'

hi - i've got a follow on question to this topic...

all my Autocomplete options are ticked, but it won't offer to save a username or password - say if in the past I've opted to not remember them for a particular site.

What do I delete / change to get this re-activated?

Thankyou
