Where could I find auto external call forwarding in a BCM50? I have a customer who has lines that automatically forward to the answering service every night then back again in the morning. works well until you get to Christmas.
Not set up by me.

There are a few ways to do this. I would look first at auto attendant. Look under the CCR tree area, and see if there is a CCR tree built as just one path, set up as a transfer to the external number. if you know the line number in question, look under the AA area, and look at lines, find the line and see what greeting table is assigned to it. The greeting table will say what to do when and at a time in the evening it could have the CCR tree as a transfer node assigned to it.

Take a look at that, then report back.

Another way is a set that is forwarded to the external number, that set is in a service mode "night service".
Look at the Sets and the Forward column and look for that number.
With this method the caller does not need to press any digits to be forwarded.

If you use a CCR tree, you set it up as a transfer node, not a menu, then the caller doesn't have to push any digits either.

you can have a regular menu CCR tree answer all day, then in the off hours CCR assignment, assign the CCR tree that is a transfer node.

Thanks for the help, I'll check these tomorrow. I guess that's why I prefer the manual mode (press a button on/off).
