I've networked 2 MICS systems together usin MCDN with PRI between them. Both systems are sharing an APMOD 4 REL 4.1. The MICS systems are REL 6.1. The intergration appears to be operating properly except that randomly the calls coming in on POTS lines drop into subscriber mailboxes.

I've checked all the usual suspects ie; answers DN's on the phones, incorecct line asignments on phones, target lines set to answer on auto attendant ect.

I also set the line answer delay to 2 rings thinking that the caller ID was being read by the APMOD and transfering to a mailbox but to no end. Althogh the problem seems to be less frequent.

I've exhausted my expertise on this and hope some one can point me in a new direction.

I had this problem on the POTS side, however it was on one extension, for some reason one of the lines had been set to appear and ring. This intermittantly caused callers to bounce to his mailbox.
You might have already checked this but I thought I'd pass this on

Thanks, I checked those types of things first. This started happening after I completed the programming for the MCDN intergration. There was alot of programming on the NAM as well as the 2 MICS'. Have you done this intergration before?

Unfortunatley not...
Sorry I couldn't be more help..
This site is great though..there are a lot of more experienced folks on here that I'm sure will have some suggestions..

Well I have had the same problem with the same setup. The only thing that I have found to "fix" this is to do a reset of the NAM about every 2 or three months. This I know is not a complete Fix so I explained to the costomer that when it starts to happen to do a shut down of the voice mail and unplug the NAM for 30 seconds and plug it back in and that works. Till next time, I also reloaded the redirect Patch with no sucess. If someone has a complete fix I would sure like to know. Thanks

we had that issue once. ITAS had us upgrade to Norstar Access 6.0 working issue 200H, Norstar Voice Mail 4.1 working issue 05. Solved the problem.
