I have a home business, I place the family line on number 1 and my two business line on line 2 and 3. I have a messaging R1 4 port with the ACS 5.0 processors. Here is what I am trying to do. I try to set up each line to have it own auto attended. I when into the VM Admin section (#0 password, 9 ) and set up auto attended 1 and select line 1. When I call the line the system answers "Transferring your call" I can hear extension 10 ringing and after a 30 seconds the vm for ext 10 pickup. It bypass my greeting. Also I cannot get this unit to answer after 3 rings. I set the ASA to 6 rings and still 3 rings. I know at least my VM is setup physically. Any sugguestion?

Thanks

You assign the lines to the Auto Attendant through #206-7-NN-1 [where NN is the line number]

You set the number of rings before the Auto Attendant answers through #506-M-NN-X [where M is the Mode (1=Day/2=Night), NN is the Line Number, and X is the number of rings]

You assign the lines to the different Auto Attendants by logging into the System Administrator's mailbox (0#), going to the appropiate Auto Attendant, and pressing 6 for Line Assignment.
